Dear Friends:

Thank you for contacting my office expressing your concern with President Bush's request to provide $500 million to the Palestinian Authority. As a supporter of Israel, I assure you that I will keep your thoughts in mind during future congressional action relating to Israel and the Middle East peace process. I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with me. I value your views on the important issues facing our Commonwealth and the Nation.

It is an honor and privilege to serve the citizens of Virginia's First Congressional District. Since my Congressional swearing in ceremony on December 13,2007, I've been busy voting, meeting with constituents and setting up my offices. I look forward to continuing to work hard to represent our district in Washington, D.C. and will do the best that I can to address your specific concerns.

Thank you again for sharing your views and opinions with me. I am committed to serving you to the best of my abilities. If I can ever be of assistance to you or your family, please do not hesitate to call me at (202) 225-4261 or contact me online at:www.wittman.house.gov.
